Moving Forwards Westlands

A 3 year lottery funded community project based on Westlands focusing on a number of key areas.

At the Westlands Community Hall, Moving Forward has launched its ‘Community Fridge’, with the support of environmental charity Hub UK in a growing effort to tackle food waste.

The fridge is located at Westlands Community Centre, Meadow Way, Westlands, Droitwich WR9 9BF and will be open Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays between 9.30am and 1.30pm.

The Community Fridge enables residents and businesses to share surplus food and for anyone to help themselves to quality food that would otherwise be wasted. We offer good quality surplus food completely free of charge, our service is not means tested and is open to all.

Here’s a look at our community fridge!!
