Volunteers provide transport for journeys to and from the shops, hospital appointments, doctors, dentists, opticians and social activities.
Community transport is still operational during this lockdown (subject to volunteer driver availability). Our vehicles have been fitted with plexiglass separating drivers and passengers for added protection and are sanitised between each journey. You can book transport for hospital, doctors and other medical appointments. You can also book transport for your Covid-19 Vaccine at weekends too.
From 11th January 2021, the office will be open Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
As a local charity, we are doing everything we can to help the most vulnerable in our communities. During COVID-19 our amazing staff and volunteer team have stepped up and worked tirelessly to support those in need.
We have delivered over 3,200 prescriptions to date, given out food parcels to over 800 families, kept in phone contact with isolated people, assisted with emergency errands, set up a dog walking service and provided practical support and advice.
